Lynn Rasmussen

For more than three decades, Lynn has been helping leaders to accelerate their transition into larger, more complex executive roles. Her outstanding track record of coaching success comes from the knowledge and expertise gained from her own executive experience, and from her experience as a trusted advisor to the C-Suite. Highly respected for her judgment, Lynn has supported leaders to build the critical skills, mindsets and experiences required to navigate organisational complexity and achieve their professional and career goals.

Lynn provides her coaching clients with unique insight gained from a deep understanding of C-level decision making. During her career at Westpac Banking Corporation, Lynn participated in Executive Team discussions on succession management, talent identification and executive development.

Lynn’s value to coaching clients stems from her understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by organisations in developing executives for the future. In her most recent roles, she had accountability for enterprise-wide talent strategy, executive talent reviews, and General Manager transition and development. She was renowned and sought after by leaders across the organisation, for her career coaching skills.

Qualifications

Lynn holds a Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Education from Macquarie University. She is an IECL accredited coach and has accreditations in tools and diagnostics including Hogan Leadership Series.

Personal Insights

Lynn is a member of the Jawun Stories of Female Leaders (SOFL) network. Jawun is a not-for-profit organisation which brings First Nations people together with corporate, government and philanthropic organisations to enable Indigenous-led development agendas. SOFL aims to develop a pipeline of indigenous female leaders through mentoring programs. She is also a Director of The Freedom Hub, a  not-for-profit dedicated to ending modern day slavery in Australia.

Lynn is married with a son, daughter and two grandsons, and loves family time, reading, gardening and walking around the northern beaches of Sydney.
